Join the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines and Forestry, Ontario Geological Survey Branch, and provide your geoscience expertise in organizing, overseeing and participating in studies of mineral aggregate resources. In this role, you will: conduct geological field investigations related to aggregate deposits and materials; collect, evaluate and interpret geological information related to mineral aggregates; liaise with, and provide geological advice to industry, land-use professionals and other stakeholders. You will also prepare geological maps, reports and presentations detailing results of specialized investigations, and serve on technical working groups.
Location: 933 Ramsey Lake Road, Sudbury.
Qualifications: knowledge and understanding of geoscientific principles, theories and practices with experience in Quaternary geology and Paleozoic bedrock as pertinent to aggregate inventories; demonstrated research, evaluation, analytical and problem-solving skills to conduct field investigations, evaluate aggregate deposit information, and interpret and synthesize geoscience data; strong communication, interpersonal, consultation and presentation skills; well developed planning, organization and time management skills to schedule and assign tasks and activities, and ensure that tasks and objectives are met on time; team leadership skills; demonstrated experience with computer software and hardware relevant to geoscience applications, including databases, spreadsheets, word processing, and working knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS); certification as a Professional Geoscientist with the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (APGO) or eligibility for membership in APGO; valid driver's licence to complete fieldwork; ability to travel and work irregular hours.
Salary range: $1,043 - $1,238 per week

The successful candidate is required for ongoing geological and resource modeling activities of existing gold resources to JORC reporting standards and requirements. The responsibilities include data validation, interpretation, geological and resource modeling of the data to produce resource models and reports.
The ideal candidate shall have Bachelor of Science in geology with at least 5 years experience in epithermal gold style, proficient at using Micromine or equivalent software, with an eye for detail. Full understanding of the resource development and modeling process is required, with a confident personality and be a self-reliant, independent self starter.
The successful candidate will have an extensive human resource management experience gained within the resource industry; experience in gold mining project will be highly regarded. Demonstrated knowledge of legislation and best practices of human resource, excellent organizational, negotiating and communications skills and experience with cultural diversity.

Bachelor s degree or higher in Chemical, Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering with minimum 7 years experience in a similar role and will be expected to exhibit technical competence in areas of risk based inspection assessments, material specifications, metallurgy, cathodic protection, coatings and chemical treatment. Have a strong knowledge of the operation and maintenance of hydrocarbon carrying pipelines. Familiar with pigging routines an be prepared to plan and lead an extensive intelligent pigging program.
Facility Engineer
Provide Facility Engineering support to a growing offshore and onshore Production Operation. Main responsibilities would include; Providing Facility Engineering assistance and direction to the Operations and Maintenance teams, Optimizing operation s performance by implementing facility improvements, Following international standard s for facility design and operation.
Bachelor s degree of higher in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering. The candidate should have 5-10 years experience in a similar role preferably within an Exploration and Production company.
Operations Engineer
Provide engineering support to a growing offshore and onshore Production Operation. Main responsibilities would include; optimization of field performance through increased production volumes and reduced costs, preparation of cost estimates and budgets, preparing and executing well intervention work.
Bachelor s degree or higher in Chemical, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering with experience 2-5 years in an oil and gas operation. Familiar with the basic steps involved with producing and transporting oil and gas and preferably have some experience of well intervention operations.
Upgrade Planning Coordinator
To prepare plans for facilities upgrades in conjunction with ongoing operational needs. Set up the project plan, milestones and integrate and coordinate with all relevant parties.

Offshore Maintenance Superintendent
