    Job Details:

    Our client, a mining company in the Middle East, requires a Mine Geologist to supervise the day-to-day operation of the Mine Geology department. You will be required to participate in developing short and long term geological plans and projects, to mark orebody areas to be drilled, blasted and sampled, to participate in evaluating and interpreting results and to document geological investigations and findings. In addition you will supervise the activities of assigned personnel, liaise with the Mine Captain and Shift Boss to determine developments during their shifts and monitor/liaise with drilling contractors to ensure that targets are achieved. The successful candidate will require a BSc in Geology or Mining Geology and 7 years relevant experience, including 3 years in underground mining. Good knowledge and operation of geological software, such as SURPAC, is an advantage. Please quote Ref No: PNEW4194 when replying.
