Already in development, Martabe is expected to commence production of gold in 2011. The mine will be capable of producing at a rate of 250,000oz gold and 3M oz silver per annum.

G-Resources seeks to rapidly grow production to more than one million ounces of gold annually through exploration of the large and highly prospective Martabe property and through acquisition of other quality gold assets.

    PT. Agincourt Resources is pleased to invite applications for the following role:

    1. COMMERCIAL MANAGER (CM 0750)

    This position reports directly to the General Manager and will be a key position in the management team. The Commercial Manager will be a site based position and will take responsibility for Finance, IT & Systems, HR & Admin, Supply & Logistics and Camps. Initially the position will be responsible for setting up the systems and processes required to support the project as it transitions through construction, commissioning and ongoing operation. A strong focus will be on building a team and developing staff capable of supporting the business.

    Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
    • Degree in commerce, finance, administration or supply.
    • 10 - 15 years working experience in senior roles of Finance, HR, IT & Supply Chain in a mining or production operation.
    • Proven ability to operate in a foreign culture and with professional experience in Indonesia is desirable.
    • Communication, relationship and team building skills.
    • Strong working knowledge of systems and processes across various disciplines.

    As this position is an Integral leadership role the preference is for candidates willing to be based in country on a 2/1 FIFO roster.


    2. MINE GEOLOGY MANAGER (MGE 0752)

    This position will be based in Martabe project with FIFO schedule 4/2 weeks and reports directly to the Senior Manager Operations, and Indirectly to the General Manager Exploration. The Mine Geology Manager is responsible for leadership and management to ensure that the Company’s mine geology programs are developed and implemented with a high level of quality technical input, in a practical and cost effective manner within the guidelines of industry best practice for Health, safety, environment and community relations.

    Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
    • Tertiary qualifications in geology & Strong technical skills in mine geology
    • 10 - 15 years in senior supply roles in a mining or production operation with extensive experience in business systems and business processes.
    • Strong financial understanding for capital and operating budget preparation.
    • Familiarity with JORC code and resource/ reserve modelling and estimation procedures.
    • Whilst not essential, experience in a Greenfield’s mine start up will be very highly regarded.


    3. SUPPLY & LOGISTICS MANAGER (SCM 0751)

    This position will be based in Martabe project with FIFO schedule 4/2 weeks, and reports directly to the Commercial Manager.

    This position will be responsible for all activities relating to purchasing, contracts, inventory & logistics for the Martabe operation. The main accountabilities of the role are to:
    • Establish the Martabe supply team, the business processes and the systems to support the operation
    • Management of operational contracts for goods and services & all procurement activities
    • Management of logistics operations and the performance of the freight contractor Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
    • Minimum Degree in Business, Administration or Supply.
    • 10 - 15 years in senior supply roles in a mining or production operation with extensive experience in business systems and business processes.
    • Sound business skills involving contracts, negotiations and procurement
    • Project planning and Implementation skills & Strong leadership skills.
    • Good Computer skills & Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    You will coordinate administrative and service roles within the team to comply with the PNG Mining Act and Special Rules, along with established corporate and OTMI policies. You will also maximise reliability of communications plant and equipment to meet production demands, ensure all communication services (external and internal) to business facilities, workshops and warehouses are in full operational mode and provide contingency plans and emergency equipment in cases of failure of critical plant, controls, remote sites and links.

    Ideally, you will have a Diploma in Electronics with specific training in maintenance of radio and telecommunication systems. You will also preferably have is years field and workshop repair and maintenance experience in the mining industry, including extensive experience in telephone PABX, mobile radio and powerhouse electronics.

    Sinclair Knight Merz (SKM) has a credible groundwater team comprising of Hydrogeologists, Environmental Engineers and Environmental Scientists based in Adelaide. The team enjoy a reputation of delivering exciting projects built on technical innovation. The team are now seeking a Principal Hydrogeologist to complement the existing team. The role will be based in Adelaide, South Australia.

    Reporting into the Team Leader Groundwater, the Principal Hydro-geologist will work closely with the Adelaide Groundwater team and operate as a key technical resource in supporting the team to deliver high level technical projects in groundwater and associated underground liquid and gas reservoir management.

    The scope of the role will include providing commercial input to further develop the already strong position of the groundwater business, in particular focusing on Government agencies in the river and wetland infrastructure sector and also assisting with opportunities in the mining and energy sector. The role will involve working with existing Client Managers in order to develop the Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) and coal seam gas opportunities/projects in Australia.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    TECHNICAL: Project Manager and Project Director providing senior technical, business and risk management oversight for large Groundwater projects. Act as a senior technical support to the Team Leader on groundwater projects.

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Secure and deliver large groundwater technical projects including operating as a Project Director.

    CLIENT CARE: Ensure quality of service and client satisfaction. Ensure projects delivered are meeting the client's needs.

    COMMERCIAL: Support and assist in the development of the Adelaide office Groundwater practice. Pursue Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR) opportunities in the Mining sector, with Local Government authorities, water utilities and in the Coal seam gas area in conjunction with existing client managers where they are operating in these sectors including;

    * Groundwater management
    * Groundwater dependent ecosystems
    * Surface water
    * Groundwater interface

    TEAMWORKING: Acts a role model to the team.

    EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

    Applicants will hold a relevant degree i.e. Hydrogeology (or equivalent or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of understanding).

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

    * Applicants must have considerable relevant technical work experience and may come from a wide range of backgrounds including environmental consultancy, engineering/industry, Local Authority or from a regulatory organisation. Regardless of background applicants will need to demonstrate technical expertise within the field of Hydrogeology.
    * A track record of business development.
    * Previous experience of working with and developing capability within less experienced consultants.
    * Strong report and proposal writing skills.
    * Demonstrated application of quality control / quality assurance.
    * Able to undertake strategic high level discussions and engage senior people in government agencies to support client relationship development.
    * Knowledge and/or experience of winning and managing high value projects including management of project schedules, budget control and resource allocation and management.
