PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) operates a coal mine in Sangatta East Kalimantan and is one of the largest export coal mines in the world.

Opportunity exists for a seasoned, high caliber, professional to join the Company with job Assignment in Sengata-East Kalimantan for the positions of:

Senior Engineer - Project
Kalimantan Timur - Sangatta

Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or Mining with minimum 3 years experience related in mine rehabilitation, mine civils and mine environment.
* Excellent problem solving ability to resolve scheduling and resourcing conflict.
* Ability to continually question existing methods and look for improvements to improve productivity and reduce costs.
* Computer skills in Word, Excel, MS Power Point, and MS Project.
* Thorough knowledge of KPC safety standards and work procedures.
* Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills for a diverse range of subordinate roles from engineering/planning staff to equipment operators and contract labourers.
* Ability to effectively manage personnel and ensure teamwork with a diverse range of roles.
* Basic knowledge of mining machinery, associated equipment, and applications as they apply to earthworks, and dredge.
* Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (oral & writen) in both Indonesia and English language.

Responsibilities:
* Evaluate plans received from central planning department with superintendent to identify critical issues and provide feedback for any plan revision.
* Present plans to operation staff at planning meeting and provide technical support and feedback such as specifications.
* Oversee the plan requirement in advance to have better strategy in project and equipment scheduling.
* Co-ordinate engineers in executing projects based on prioritisation from the bigger picture plan and identify area for improvement.
* Prepare annual budget based on equipment, production performance and overall target.
* Coach colleagues especially on the technical and costing aspects.
* Prepare data for monthly report.
* Coordinate project prioritisation from the bigger picture plan and identify are for improvement.
* Manage the CEA development, tender documents and be involved in related commercial processes required by department for major projects or equipment purchases.
* Monitor the operation or progress of on going contract, includes day to day monitoring of several umbrella contracts and take actions required if there’s any problems.
* Compile data for weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly report, as well as other required report such as PTBA report.
* Cost control of budget of the projects and provide feedback accordingly to related superintendent.
* Contribute on campaigning team building, team work and safety culture among the team.
