Senior Assistant
(Sumatera Selatan - Mukut, Palembang)


Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree majoring in Agronomy or graduated from vocational school of agriculture/plantation minimum 10 years experience in palm oil plantation.
* Having minimum 5 years experience in land clearing for swamp area.
* Having minimum 2 years experience in seed cultivation of palm oil.
* Good command in English (oral and written).
* Computer literate.
* Willing to be placed in remote area (Mukut, Palembang, South Sumatra).


Responsibilities:
* Position Purpose:
o Responsible for the profitable and efficient running of the estate, which includes the nursery, land clearing, planting, field maintenance, harvesting, transport and the running of emplacement infrastructure.


* Main Responsibilities:
o Contribute to the company’s development of innovations, long term strategies, objectives and plans.
o Develop and strengthen working relationships with other departments and peers at other group companies.
o Develop and recommend strategies for the estate to the field manager.
o Develop with Estate Manager the operating and capital budgets for the estate.
o Implement the estate operating budget and capital budget to ensure the profitability and long term viability of the company.
o Implement the budget within agreed financial, physical, time, quality and efficiency parameter.
o Manage the estate to ensure targets are achieved through efficient use of human, financial, physical and information resources.
o Lead the estate team and maintenance productive working relationships and team spirit in the estate and with other estates.
o Ensure that the estate is efficiently manned and supervised to ensure maximum production and the cost effective completion of work program to required standards.
o Perform other relevant tasks required by Management in day to day operation.
