Safety Officer
(Singapore)

Closing Date: 19-7-08.

Requirements:
Must be registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM
Registered ECO with NEA
Preferably Fire Safety Manager with SCDF
Diploma/Degree in Chemical Engineering
Must have Driving License Class 3
Around 5 - 7 years Experience working in Process / Oil & Gas Plants
Experience in Hazop of Process Industry would be an added advantage

- Location: Alexandra
- 5 days work week


Responsibilities:
Develop, direct and maintain Safety Manual including the development of incident prevention methods, procedures and programmes.
Maintain a current knowledge of all applicable statutory safety and occupational health standards
Revising as necessary the Safety Manual.
Develop Project Specific Safety Programmes incorporating Owner requirements.
Advise the Project Manager as soon as possible of any incident. Investigating and reporting on all incidents, injuries and occupational health cases and notifying MOM of incidents and hazards in line with reporting requirements.
Prepare, review and maintain of Safety Control records and statistical data.
Develop and monitor a systematic training programme in Safety for all employees.
Liaise with Local and Government Authorities and site contractors on all occupational health and safety matters.
