    Requirements:

    Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering or construction engineering.
    Minimum 10 y ears of experience with major international projects including a minimum 5 years as Project Manager. It is preferred to have experience in the design and engineering of various types of offshore drilling units.
    Good verbal and written communication skills.
    Good knowledge of world wide shipyards and capabilities.
    Good negotiation skills.
    Good knowledge of CPM scheduling techniques and other project management tools.


    Responsibilities:
    Provide Project Managers with guidance, oversight and support for ongoing projects.
    Oversee shipyard activity progress and assist the Project Manager as required.
    Coordinate with Director of Projects the assignment of project staff to projects.
    Coordinate with Operations Manager Asset and Performance on a regular basis to discuss active projects and those in the planning phase
    Identify and assist in the shipyard selection process
    Review with Project Managers project work scopes to ensure that company standard is met.
    Monitors and reports progress on projects
    Assist project managers and director of projects with shipyard evaluations and contract negotiations.
    Recommend appraisals for key personnel
    Review and recommend career development plans for project staff
    Participate in HSE incident analysis, support corrective actrions for the improvement of HSE performance
    Support project specific HSE plans with project managers and rig managers asset
    Ensure that completed projects are closed out in a timely manner with all the required documentation
