    The laboratory's function is to provide information to service the mine geologist, wash plant manager, quality control and marketing department needs for timely, accurate and relevant analysis.

    Chief Chemist - Head of Laboratory

    Job Requirements:

    Tertiary qualification in analytical chemistry
    Min 5 years relevant working experience
    Must be familar with coal chemistry and International Standards for the sampling
    Experience on Metallurgical or cooking properties, chemical or physical would be highly preferred
    Working location: Vietnam

    Job Responsibilities:

    Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained and operated correctly and it is functioning to specified precisions
    Ensure analysts are adequately trained to give timely and accurate results
    Ensure all operations and personnel in the laboratory are aware of hazards and can operate safely
    Arrange recycling on known analysis to ensure repeatability of results
    Ensure samples sent off site to potenital customers is to the potential anticipated specifications
    Ensure efficient operations of the laboratory
    Produce results at competitive costs
    Ensure analytical determinations are provided to the user departments within the agreed time periods
