    Senior Pipeline Engineer, Offshore Project

    Senior Pipeline Engineer
    (Singapore)

    Requirements:
    A recognized Engineering degree with appropriate discipline
    Minimum of 12 years working experience with oil and gas industry with 8 years in offshore pipeline installation
    Significant involvement in 2 (two) major offshore pipeline installation projects and experience in network planning.


    Responsibilities:
    Our Client is a leading worldwide marine solutions company, providing design, fabrication, transportation, and installation services of offshore platforms and pipelines for the oil and natural gas industry.

    They are currently looking for suitable candidates to fill the Senior Pipeline Engineer position to be based in Miri, Malaysia.

    As the Senior Pipeline Engineer you will be directly responsible to the Construction Manager on all pipeline engineering, planning, materials and all other technical services essential to support the installation construction activities. Other duties will include:

    Compiling as-built reports on the project (Progress versus Plan, Problem Areas, Lesson Learned, Distinct
    Performance, etc.) to ensure information is complied for the completion reports and the project database, also assisting the Planner to product an as-built project network

    Ensuring that the details included in the engineering procedures are fully understood by the construction personnel and that all the project preparation are in order

    Working in close liaison with engineers to advise on the technical aspects related to the project

    Liaising with engineers for all design, planning and materials, problems that may arise and to propose solutions

    Continually reviewing project planning during implementation

    Monitoring the project offshore for its implementation and liaising with Field Engineers, providing technical back up and advice in steering the project execution as well as assisting the Field Engineer to ensure material availability offshore prior to start of construction activities

    Developing installation procedures for offshore pipeline installation (Carbon Steel Pipeline and CRA)
    Seeking clients/marine warranty surveyor’s approval in a timely manner
