    EPA (c8.gg) Senior Structural Geologist

    Requirements:
    To be considered for this position, you must possess aPh.D. degree in Geology and 2 years of structural and stratigraphic seismic interpretation and cross-section construction experience;
    In addition to the tasks outlined in this job description, you may be assigned other responsibilities as needed.

    Responsibilities:
    In this position, you will work on performing structural and stratigraphic 2D and 3D seismic interpretation using 123DI, TrapTester, Structural Geology Toolkit, and VOICE software. Optimizes usage of existing restoration technologies for forward modeling and prediction of fault presence and fault geometries in compressional and extensional environments;
    Apply 2D and 3D structural restorations in service projects. Expands predictive knowledge of static and dynamic fault seal potentials using 3D seismic data, core, outcrop, and production data;
    Participates in and steers multiple fault-rock property external research contracts. Conducts fault seal prediction and calibration studies in service projects using TrapTester and Quasar software;
    Investigates production histories and analogs to quantify the impacts of various fault systems on recovery factors. Investigates possible linkages of specific types of fault networks to specific trap types and deformation histories;
    Integrates seismic attribute data with outcrop and stress data to predict subsurface occurrence of fractures and subseismic faults;
    Performs quality control 2D and 3D seismic interpretations, top, and fault seal evaluation utilizing all available velocity, well, seismic stratigraphic, and surface control, to evaluate the probabilities of trap, reservoir, and charge in niche service projects and play and prospect value assurance reviews and peer assists.
