Responsibilities

Long Description :
Administrator, LIMS
Basic Function :
Provide administration and system support in Environmental Laboratory Section, in order to promote the sections performance according to ISO 17025, Quality Manual (Panduan Mutu), and other company's standards.


Job Responsibility :
1. Upgrade and develop the laboratory reporting system through improving the software and hardware of LIMS, in
order to provide accurate data and to enhance the laboratory's performance.
2. Perform all administration process of Laboratory Section, in order to provide an accurate and updated database and
documentation.
3. Perform all administration process of Laboratory's employees (i.e., man-hours report, itinerary, etc.) to support and accelerate the group activities.
4. Identify and distribute sample from clients to designated laboratory as well as entry the result into LIMS and distribute it back to relevant clients.
5. Liaise with internal parties (i.e., MIS, etc.) and external parties (i.e., TDS, PSU, other vendor, etc.) to coordinate facilities maintenance, in order to maintain those in a timely and cost effective manner.
6. Record and order consumable material as required (i.e., spare parts, chemical materials, etc.), in order to support laboratory's activities.
7. Understand and be aware of safety and environmental
practices in the work are ensuring safe work practices within the group and compliance with company Safety and Environmental SOPs.
The key challenges in this position include:
° Develop an in-depth knowledge of the LIMS system design and being able to use the system to develop.

The key areas in which you have decision-making responsibility are:
° Order equipment on the subject of housekeeping needs.
° Sign out the time cards and validate the time cards report.

Requirements

Graduated from computer/chemistry/instrumentation, experienced would be advantaged.
