    An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Oil & Gas Headhunter to join DRS-London. DRS is an International search consultancy, specialising in the Technical and Commercial Oil & Gas industry. Headquartered on Central London¡¦s exclusive St James¡¦s Square, we handle appointments in key technical disciplines including Geoscience and Engineering as well as Commercially within the wider Commodities sector. We operate from Graduate through to Senior Management and Board level.

    Our clients include major E&P companies, mid-sized independents, energy consultancies, investment banks and hedge funds. DRS prides itself on an acute understanding of the Oil & Gas industry and offer¡¦s an informed, dynamic approach to search and selection.

    Role:

    The successful candidate will be placed on either the Technical or Commercial desk dependent on suitability and will be trained in the principles of headhunting within the Oil and Gas sector.

    The successful candidate will undertake:
    * Appropriate advertisement of new and existing roles - drafting and placing advertisements using a wide range of media e.g. newspapers, web, industry publications.
    * Use of technical and commercial knowledge to extend DRS-London contacts through networking at industry presentations, conferences, exhibitions and targeted high grade industry gatherings.
    * Assist with the maintenance of the DRS-London candidate database
    * Completion of further tasks will be required on an ad-hoc basis
    * Searching and screening of candidates for suitable opportunities.
    * Review applications, manage interviews and consider candidates and shortlists.
    * Providing continual support to clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
    * Collect feedback from employers on the performance of candidates who have previously been placed with them.
    * Clarification and negotiation of remuneration and benefits package relating to the role.
    * Maintain current records and personal statistics for review against performance targets.
    * Registering a range of professional candidates for permanent, temporary and consultancy work.
    * Management of existing candidate relationships.
    * Executive search - identifying and approaching suitable candidates.
    * Contacting predefined candidates to introduce DRS-London


    You have/are:
    * A strong work ethic with the discipline to work diligently and independently
    * The ability to lead a team and assist in company growth. For the right candidate, DRS will offer management exposure
    * Ambitious with a desire to succeed, a sporting background would be beneficial
    * The ability to confidently take on tasks beyond their role remit as and when required
    * An undergraduate or postgraduate degree, preferably in a subject allied to the Oil & Gas sector but
    * not a pre-requisite
    * A good understanding of the oil & gas / banking & finance sectors
    * Postgraduate experience in a professional services environment
    * A proven track record in high end target-driven research and business development


    What we offer:

    A strong base remuneration, bonus and excellent commission structure in addition to a variety of incentive schemes.     Salary: £22-24k basic - £60k + OTE
