    For all the above positions, applicants from the aluminium, industrial or energy industry are preferred, with relevant degree or diploma, and a minimum of 5 years experience, and 10 plus for management level positions.


    POWER MAINTENANCE

    • MECHANICAL TECHNICIANS (RN: PMT87)
    Diploma in Mechanical. Engineering with minimum 3 years experience in a thermal Power Plant. Familiar with mechanical maintenance tools. Must be conversant with Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Waste Heat Boilers, Compressors, Pumps, Cooling Towers and Reverse Osmosis plant.

    • ELECTRICAL TECHNICIANS (RN: PMET88)
    Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering with minimum 3 years experience in a Thermal Power Plant or equivalent heavy industrial plant. Conversant with combined cycle power generators, waste heat boilers, High voltage distribution system, Electrical protection systems, Power conversion Rectifiers.

    • INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL TECHNICIANS (RN: PMCT89)
    Diploma/ Degree in Industrial Instrumentation and / or Electronic Engineering with minimum 3 years experience in a Thermal Power Plant. Knowledge of the process of Combined Cycle Therm Power Plant and Reverse Osmosis Plant.


    SMELTER OPERATIONS

    • UTILITY OPERATORS (RN: SOUO73)
    High School graduate, preferably with a technical Diploma / Certificate. Minimum 2 years experience within the aluminium or heavy industry.

    • PROCESS CONTROL TECHNICIANS (RN: SOPC74)
    Degree in Science or Diploma in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering. More than five years experience in a continuous process industry.

    POWER OPERATIONS

    • POWER OPERATORS (RN: PO75)
    Degree or a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred, with 5 years experience in the operation of gas / steam turbine generators, team raising plant and associated auxiliary equipment.

    SMELTER MAINTENANCE

    • CONDITION MONITORING TECHNICAL ENGINEERS (RN: SMCMT76)
    Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 6 years experience in condition monitoring of process industry. Conversant with various latest Condition Monitoring techniques. CMMS & SAP working knowledge.

    • REFRACTORY MASONS (RN: SMRM77)
    Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years experience as a Refractory Mason. Knowledge of Baking Kiln construction, Cast House furnace construction, hot repairs and cold repair.

    • MAINTENANCE MECHANICS (RN: SM78)
    Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with NDT Certificate of PT and MT methods with 5 years experience (2 years in Mechanical Maintenance and 3 years in Lifting Equipment Inspection).

    • AUTO MECHANICS (RN: SMAM79)
    Diploma level or technical education with full craft apprenticeship in Automotive trade, preferably auto / diesel mechanic with a minimum of 5 years experience in Heavy Mobile Equipment Maintenance and Repairs. Ability to operate and drive a wide range of heavy mobile equipment.

    • WELDERS / FABRICATORS (RN: SMWF81)
    Qualified Welder / Fabricator with a Diploma or technical education with minimum 8 years experience. Basic knowledge of welding with a valid welding certificate of 6G or equivalent and knowledge of all types of Fabrication works.

    • INSPECTION TECHNICIANS (RN:SMT82)
    Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) methods. Minimum 6 years work experience (3 years in Mechanical Maintenance and 3 years in Lifting Equipment inspection).

    • AUTO ELECTRICIANS (RN: SMAM83)
    Diploma or technical education with full craft apprenticeship in Electrical trade with minimum 5 years experience. Ability to operate and drive a wide range of Mobile Equipment for testing purposes essential. Background on Electronic Engine Controls and Battery Operated Equipment essential.

    • MECHANICAL TECHNICIANS (RN: SMT84)
    Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years experience in smelter plant equipment or in a similar process oriented heavy industry. Working knowledge on computerised equipment PM schedule (CMMS/MES/SAP).

    • ELECTRICAL TECHNICIANS (RN: SMET85)
    Diploma / Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with minimum of 3 years experience in electrical maintenance of industrial plants, preferably in Smelter, Steel, Iron foundries & Mining industries. Knowledge & practical experience of safe isolation procedures essential.

    • INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIANS (RN: SMT86)
    Diploma / Degree in Industrial Instrumentation and / or Electronic with minimum 5 years experience, with excellent General Industrial Control and Instrumentation Engineering background, particularly in heavy industrial applications.
