Systems Architect / Senior Java Developer - International Client

Responsibilities:
We are building an executive development team for a world leading Scandinavian manufacture with more than 40 companies globally. The company develops mission critical web applications to support their business.

We are looking for a systems architect / senior Java developer.

You will be architecting and developing exciting Java based WEB applications. You will be working in a small sharp team and coordinating closely with the customer in Denmark. We work under an informal European management style. You will have excellent opportunity to develop your skills and grow your ability. In the future it might be possible to travel to Europe to work some periods with the customer. This is an exciting position. The operating environment is the following:

• IBM AIX as operating system
• IBM WebSphere as J2EE environment
• IBM DB2 as SQL database
• IBM MQ Series for messaging
• IBM Access Manager for web security
• Apache HTTP server

We require the following of you: You must be very intelligent, creative and independent in your working style. You must be willing to work hard and loyally. SAP Basis / Operations - International Client

Responsibilities:
We are building an SAP basis / operation team for a world leading Scandinavian manufacture. The customer has more than 40 companies globally and 6500 users on their the centralized SAP systems: core R/3, HR, BW/BI, CRM, SRM, SCM, C-projects and Portals highly integrated with other applications and IT systems.

The complete system landscape (prj, dev, QA, prod) today consists of approximately 45 SAP systems with a core R/3 production database size of 3.5 TB.

Components like: XI, Business Connector, Solution Manager, TaxWare, IXOS, BMC Cntl-M, Quest Live Reorg and IBM MQ Series are of great importance in the IT environment. The technical platform is SAP based on Oracle, IBM p-series servers with AIX and EMC storage setup in a physical separated dual center in Copenhagen.

The team will support the following tasks:

• Planning and controlling SAP Basis activities at CSC (upgrades, problem solving etc.)
• SAP Applications & Interfaces
• Support packages and OSS notes (kernel is CSC)
• Batch
• Data archiving
• Performance monitoring, analysis and improvement
• Printer and fax definition and configuration
• Transports - QA to Prod (emergency and weekly)
• Incidents like: cancelled jobs (SM37), Long running processes (SM66), Systemlog (SM21), Update (SM13), Locks (SM12), Dumps (ST22), Batch input (SM35)

We are looking for skilled SAP Basis consultants to support the above as well as more project oriented tasks like ERP 2005 (ECC 6.0) upgrade/Unicode, Portal - CRM/BW integration, C-projects/XRPM setup and configuration.

You will be working in a small sharp team based in Kuala Lumpur. You will be coordinating closely with the company’s SAP Basis group in Denmark that today consists of 5 people. We work under an informal European management style. You will have excellent opportunity to develop your skills and grow your ability. In the future it might be possible to travel to Europe to work some periods with the customer. This is an exciting position.

You are expected to take part in the 24x7 on-duty rotation together with the support team in Denmark. You will receive training so that you will be able to take responsibility for incidents/problems that may occur during the night time (CET) and weekends.

In addition the team will also perform tasks related to data archiving in core R/3 and CRM (batch runs, plan/do/check).

We are looking for SAP Basis / operations consultants. You must be service and process oriented, structured and a team player. Fluent English is mandatory.
