    A private consulting and coal exploration company, based in Melbourne, is seeking a Coal Geologist with exploration and project management experience.

    Coal Geologist

    The ideal candidate will have extensive geological experience in coal, be up-to-date with the latest geological data and modelling software and have experience in geological reporting, modelling and valuations. Presentation and analysis of projects to board members and business partners would be a requirement.

    The role requires someone who is good at working within a small team environment, will be based in Melbourne with occasional travel interstate and overseas.

    The ideal candidate will have:
    * 5 + years experience in coal/geology
    * Experience working in South East Asian countries an advantage
    * Tertiary qualified in Geology (Coal)
    * Extensive geological software experience
    * Experience in coal exploration projects
    * Experience in business/project management

    Salary negotiable, in accordance with experience.
    Must have current Australian residency.
