Senior Finance Manager (Oil and Gas), Jakarta, Indonesia

Our client, a Singapore Exchange listed company with core businesses in oil and gas exploration and production (E&P) and the provision of logistics services delivered under the some company brand. Currently, my client opening position for Senior Finance Manager (Oil and Gas).

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Senior Finance Manager to be principally responsible for financial reporting and balance sheet management. We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team. We wish to recruit an individual keen to further develop their career in Finance within the oil and gas industry in Indonesia. Working across the organisation, this individual will play a pivotal role in implementing strategic objectives and supporting senior management.

Applicants should possess proven skills in finance management in oil and gas and should have experience in managing the company’s carrying out monthly balance sheet reconciliations, providing insightful forecasts, etc. Key accountabilities will include producing and analysing local Group results

Requirements:
* Degree in Accountancy from reputable university
* Proven professional competency and management skills
* Experience in the oil and gas industry for minimum of 15 years, with 10 years on managerial level
* Possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Finance systems
* Strong knowledge of Oil and Gas accounting and cost control
* Experiences and great understanding of IFRS is A MUST
* Experience with BPKP audit is an advantage
* Understand the Procurement Oil and Gas regulation (having PTK 007 certificate is an advantage)
* Good written and oral communication skills and at ease working with both financial and non-financial staff
* Great attention to detail
* Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
* Only for Indonesia passport or citizen only

Responsibilities:
* Initiate and guide the preparation of forecasts of company revenue, working capital, expenditure and return on investments
* Negotiate with banks for short-term and long-term credit
* Handle statutory Audits
* In charge of day to day functioning of the Accounts and Finance functions
* To prepare annual budget, forecasts, monthly, quarterly & year-end statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS & Indonesia GAAP and regulatory requirements
* Tax compliance & filings
* Setting up of documentation and development of controls & processes for the Company
* To prepare Investment analysis for new projects
