Responsibilities:

Health & Safety Manager–Diesel/Power Generation Project
To be based in Bangladesh (12-month contract)
Accommodation and Transportation Provided + Attractive Salary!

Primary objectives

- Coordinate and implement safety programs to maintain the safety of the environmental working conditions
- Provide full Health and Safety support from project implementation to completion
- Investigate accidents, and witness inspections
- Provide management support with the production
- Maintain Health and Safety controls and process within the company’s policies
- Establish a good rapport with the clients and customers
- Handle coaching, reporting, training, hazard analysis and process risk minimization
- Accept duties assigned within the safety departments if required

The nature of our Client’s business
Our Client is a well-known international consultancy, serving the Oil and Gas, Energy, Construction and Engineering sectors. They provide global support for the energy related services, including pre-development, delivery of facilities, processing, distribution and cessation.
Their expertise spans traditional, renewable and sustainable power generation.

Requirements:
- Knowledgeable in Health and Safety legislation and regulations
- Highly motivated and a team player
- Detail oriented and excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Degree in Engineering, Health, Services, Environment and Quality Services or any relevant discipline
- 5-10 years managerial experience in an Ancillary Plant Facility or other Industrial Projects.
- Must have experience working in a Power Generation Project or other Industrial type projects.
- MUST BE WILLING TO BE BASED IN CHITTAGONG, BANGLADESH
