Mining Engineer
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
* Liaising with the short term planning engineers to ensure a smooth transition to the field;
* Conducting projects and studies as required.
* Liaising with the geotechnical engineers to ensure the pit and dump designs conform to geotechnical parameters of safety;
* Liaising with civil engineers to address issues of drainage and water management
* Generating cycle time for waste ands coal haulages for each pit by period;
* Creating inpit and expit dump position plans based on dump balance calculations
* Responsible for short-term planning task including generating and designing pits and dumps with access based on economic limits and haulage parameters
