    PT. Jembayan Muarabara is a member of STRAITS Asia Resources has a coal mining project at East Kalimantan is inviting skilled and highly committed person to join as a part of our team for following position.

    Senior Mine Geologist
    (Kalimantan Timur)

    Requirements:
    Minimum Associate Degree in Engineering.
    Experience in Geological Modeling and Resource target generation.
    Knowledge and experience in geological data collection, analysis and interpretation, modeling and reporting.
    Experience with sampling, quality analysis and quality control.
    High level of PC literacy including experience in geological modeling software package.
    Good communication in English for verbal and writing.
    Creative thinker and hard worker who is able to work under pressure.
    Able to work independently with minimal supervision.


    Responsibilities:
    Maintain and update geological models for mining.
    Reconcile production and quality performance against geological models.
    Investigate and report on coal quality issues.
    Liaise with mine planning and production on coal quality performance and forecasting.
