1. Senior Process Engineer
Reports to:
(1) Process Manager for HR and career development issues, training and project assignments
(2) Lead Process Engineer on assigned project, for day to day tasks
Overall Function/Prime Objectives:
To undertake process design activities, in an oil and gas project based environment, with a sound knowledge of the philosophies for overall process systems, safeguarding and control.
To undertake training and development roles to enable the Senior
Process Engineer to act as a Lead Process Engineer.
To support the development and training of graduate engineers, particularly by contributing to the training lectures
To undertake the functions and prime objectives of a Process DesignEngineer, when required
Minimum Required Competencies, Tasks and Specific Accountabilities
In addition to the requirements of the Process Design Engineer:
Simulation:
Capable of building complex Hysys models with input from client’s feed stream compositions, Familiar with saturation at reservoir conditions, and modeling of the common oil and gas processes encountered offshore, e.g. primary separation, glycol dehydration, compression, condensate/crude dewatering and stabilization and produced water treatment systems Capable of producing simulation reports and supporting calculations
Confident to define and set design pressures, temperatures and specification breaks for process and utility systems.
2. Lead/Senior/Process Engineers
Broad background of various process activities e.g. CO2 removal, dehydration and similar plant.
- Design of process facilities such as oil and gas process facilities, water treatment plants, comprising oil conditioning, oil
dehydration, emulsion treatment, oil distillation and refinery plant and related processing facilities.
- Selection of equipment and process for facilities as described .
- Checking and approval of design by others of facilities described.
- Experience in design of water treating plants and oil treating facilities is prime requirements.
- Experience with treatment of corrosive fluids (e.g. oil, gas and water containing CO2 , H2S or sulphides is recommended.
- Design experience of offshore oil and gas processing facilities is essential.
