Being the regional headquarter, Makino Asia has a modern infrastructure for Research & Development, Manufacturing, Assembly, Marketing and Customer Service. With an expansion of operation since early 90’s, Makino Asia now has its own manufacturing facility in India and China. Production Supervisor
(Singapore)


Responsibilities:


Lead a team of technicians in achieving production schedule and to ensure product quality and maximize resources.
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting in maintaining continuous assembly operations.
Requirements:

Diploma in Engineering or equivalent and preferably 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
Self-motivated and committed
Possess good communication skills
Able to work overtime as and when required



Responsibilities:


Successful candidates will undergo a six-month to one-year structured training/coaching programs that encompasses attachment and cross training in various functions.
The programs are designed to tap on the potential of each individual. Subsequently, they will be assessed on their strengths and developed in their respective specialisation.

Specialisation:



Customer Service: Respond to service requests, liaise with customer to rectify field problems and trouble-shooting of CNC machines, etc.

Manufacturing: Manage CNC machining systems, manage a team of technicians to meet/exceed production targets, implement improvements towards high volume production, etc.
R&D: Carry out Research & Development of machine tool products and technologies for CNC Milling, Die Sinker EDM and Wire EDM. Extensive exposure in the following areas: Mechanical Design for machine structure, mechanism and peripherals, Electrical and Control design for CNC , Software design for CNC, and Machining Technologies development for EDM machines.

Sales Engineering: Perform Test cut, turnkey and solutions proposals, train customer on applications, etc.
Requirements:

A good bachelor degree (Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Industrial /Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science/Computer Engineering) from a reputable university is essential.

Critical thinking and analytical skills to thrive in a fast pace environment.

Good interpersonal skills.

Candidates with working experience are also welcome to apply. Training program will be modified based on your relevant experience.
